The Peak District is truly a hidden treasure.

It offers historic villages coloured by the dark gritstone of the Dark Peak or the white limestone of the White Peak, stately homes such as Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, wonderful walking across miles of open, moorland and craggy and brooding hills grazed by sheep.

Built about 300 years ago as a Peak District croft, Jack's Cottage lies in the middle of Curbar Village just below Curbar Edge and just above the river Derwent.

Surrounded by a peaceful cottage garden and with a tranquil southerly outlook across towards Chatsworth, this is a really lovely place to rest and relax.

The Mullions, Curbar has a fine entrance Hall/Musing room with delightful views through the Mullioned windows to the traditional cottage garden.
